Softball Recap: Paulding County's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Paulding County waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the McEachern Indians with a sharp 18-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won ten matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Ella Puckett was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sammy Jo Doyal, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Paulding County hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive contests.

Paulding County's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for McEachern, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Looking ahead, Paulding County will challenge Westminster at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for McEachern, they will face off against Wheeler at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
