Soccer Game Preview: Alice vs. Pleasanton

The Alice Coyotes will face off against the Pleasanton Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Alice proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by eight) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Wimberley, sneaking past 2-1. While Alice didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-15-3), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Pleasanton took on Canyon Lake on Thursday. The Eagles blew past the Hawks 5-1. Considering Pleasanton have won three matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Alice's record now sits at 6-2. As for Pleasanton, their record is now 3-5.
