Volleyball Recap: Edgewood's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Edgewood waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Edgewood was led to victory by Sophia Lowery and Elle Siniscalchi. Lowery had four aces and three digs, while Siniscalchi had three digs and two aces. That's the most aces Lowery has posted since back in September of 2024.

Edgewood's win bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Fort Atkinson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Edgewood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Mount Horeb on the 11th. As for Fort Atkinson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Reedsburg on the 11th.
