            Softball Recap: Kingsley Stags vs. Boyne City Ramblers        
        
		
        
        
            Kingsley dropped their record down to 9-9 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins on the road. They came up short against  the Boyne City Ramblers, falling  17-5. The Stags were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ramblers apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in April of 2019.
As for Boyne City, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-12. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.5 runs over those games.
 For Boyne City's part,  Sadie Bush was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  Bush a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Josie LaCombe, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kingsley will challenge Bellaire at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Boyne City, they will face off against Gaylord at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday.
