Franklin extended their winning streak to eight on Friday, bumping them up to 8-0. They came out on top against the Indian Trail Hawks by a score of 24-17. The Sabers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.

As for Indian Trail, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 95th, while Franklin is ranked fourth).

Although Indian Trail took the loss, they still got scores from Luke Peltier and Nolen Quiroz.

Franklin has already played their next matchup, a 49-14 victory against Racine Horlick on the 17th. As for Indian Trail, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-8 win against Racine Park on the 17th.
