Soccer Recap: San Antonio Memorial Comes Up Short

San Antonio Memorial lost against La Vernia back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The San Antonio Memorial Minutemen lost 7-0 to the La Vernia Bears. The Minutemen's loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

San Antonio Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for La Vernia, they pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Antonio Memorial will face off against Luling at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. San Antonio Memorial has given up an average of 2.6 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for La Vernia, they will challenge Yoakum at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
