Baseball Recap: Mt. Enterprise Comes Up Short

Mt. Enterprise suffered their biggest loss since March 3rd on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cushing Bearkats, falling 11-1. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bearkats earlier this season, when they won 13-3.

Mt. Enterprise saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Case Pieper, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Lucas Burkhardt also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Mt. Enterprise and nudges their season record down to 7-5-2. As for Cushing, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mt. Enterprise beat the Bearkats by a score of 3-0 on Friday.
