The Cyprus Pirates had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 74-24 victory over Granger at home. That looming 74-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Cyprus yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cyprus to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amelia Echternkamp, who scored 23 points along with four steals and three blocks. It was the first time this season that Echternkamp posted two or more blocks. Veanna Pau'u was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.

Cyprus has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Granger, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cyprus will take on Kearns at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cyprus is coming into the contest with four straight wins on the road, meaning Kearns will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Granger, they will square off against Taylorsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Taylorsville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday.
