Recap: Muleshoe Mules vs. Brownfield Cubs
The Muleshoe Mules lost against the Brownfield Cubs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Muleshoe had to suffer through a rough 74-44 loss at the hands of Brownfield. Muleshoe has struggled against Brownfield recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Muleshoe still got an impressive performance from Adam Alarcon, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Nathan Martens, who scored six points.
Muleshoe dropped their record down to 5-14 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Brownfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.
Muleshoe will be playing at home against Littlefield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Littlefield will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Muleshoe surely won't give up without a fight. As for Brownfield, they will head out on the road to square off against Dimmitt at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Brownfield has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 641 points over their last nine matches.
