After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Doherty Memorial, Auburn was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Tantasqua Regional Warriors 28-13. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Jayden Ortiz was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 73 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, and also caught one score.

Auburn pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.3 points over those games. As for Tantasqua Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Auburn will face off against South at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets will be up against the Colonels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.57 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Tantasqua Regional, they will challenge Doherty Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
