Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Milpitas). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Madera South Stallions 47-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Trojans considering their ten-point performance the contest before.
Bren David had another great game (as she tends to do), throwing for 112 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 58 yards and one touchdown.
Milpitas didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Madeline Garrison and Bella Doan. Garrison has been hot recently, having posted at least one interception the last three times she's played. Doan got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Milpitas' win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Madera South, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16-1.
Milpitas has already played their next matchup, a 26-6 victory against Mills on the 27th. As for Madera South, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-6 win against Monta Vista on the 27th.
