Kennedy Catholic has gone a perfect 5-0 against Auburn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Lancers will head out on the road to square off against the Trojans at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Kennedy Catholic and Mt. Rainier had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Lancers fell just short of the Rams by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Kennedy Catholic fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Mt. Rainier since on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Auburn lost 4-1 to Auburn Riverside on Friday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Auburn were already down 3-0.

Kennedy Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-3. As for Auburn, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9-2.

Kennedy Catholic came out on top in a nail-biter against Auburn in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lancers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
