University won the last time they faced Westchester and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats blew past the Comets 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won five games by ten runs or more so far this season.
Kayla Carpenter was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Carpenter was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last four games she's played.
