Palos Verdes is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 28-10 win over Bakersfield Christian.

Ryan Rakowski and Andrew Habif were among the main playmakers for Palos Verdes as the former rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries and the latter rushed for 118 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Habif has posted since back in August. Jace Demoss got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Twelve Bridges gave up the first points last Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Wilcox 28-27.

Palos Verdes better keep an eye on Braeden Ward. He was instrumental in Twelve Bridges' win, rushing for 208 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Ward has been hot for a while, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last ten times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Flaherty, who threw for 215 yards and one touchdown while completing 73.3% of his passes.

Palos Verdes is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
