Taft waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They rang in the new year with a 66-54 victory over the Warrenton Warriors. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 70-39 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.

Taft's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Warrenton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

Taft wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-26 win against Banks on the 3rd. Warrenton has also already played their next game, a 50-48 defeat against Sisters on the 3rd.
