Memphis East is 0-6 against Kingsbury since April of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. Memphis East will be strutting in after a victory while Kingsbury will be coming in after a loss.

Memphis East took a 16-run defeat the last time they faced off against Craigmont, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Chiefs on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Noah Cook, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases and two runs. Those runs were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Niclolas Malone, who earned one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.
