Baseball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Eastern saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came up short against the Southridge Raiders, falling 10-4. The Musketeers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Southridge, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Coming up, Eastern will host Corydon Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Musketeers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Southridge, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Northview on the 2nd.
