Softball Recap: Eastern Greene Comes Up Short at Home Against Springs Valley

Eastern Greene unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Springs Valley Blackhawks on Tuesday, falling 10-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Addison Ramey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and eight unearned) runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks.

Looking ahead, Eastern Greene will take on North Daviess at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Springs Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Forest Park at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
