Football Preview: Hillsboro Indians vs. Miami Trace Panthers        
        
		
             On Friday Hillsboro will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to  take on the Miami Trace Panthers  at 7:00  p.m. Both  might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 969 yards in their previous games.
 Hillsboro is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat East Clinton 65-0 at home.
  Jeven Hochstuhl continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 89 yards and two touchdowns. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in September of 2023. Another player making a difference was  Mason Dumpert, who rushed for 61 yards.
 He was just one part of a punishing run game: Hillsboro was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 395  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Miami Trace entered their tilt with Western Brown on Friday with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with  a   56-49  victory over the Broncos.
  Julian Baker and  Trey Robinette were among the main playmakers for Miami Trace as the former rushed for 176 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry and the latter threw for 138 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes. With that strong performance,  Baker is now averaging an impressive 106.8  rushing yards per game. 80 of those passing yards were hauled in by Gaige Stuckey, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
 Hillsboro's record now sits at 2-3. As for Miami Trace, their record now sits at 4-1.
 Friday's   game might be decided in the on the ground. Hillsboro has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 265  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Miami Trace struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 208.4. It's looking like  Friday's  match might have some serious battles in the trenches.
 Hillsboro won a  matchup that couldn't have been any closer  when the teams last played  back in October of 2023, slipping by Miami Trace 14-13. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hillsboro since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
