Baseball Recap: Western Falls Short of Stoneman Douglas in the Playoffs

Western and Stoneman Douglas squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Western had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time the Wildcats couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Mason McGeehan was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
