Baseball Recap: Dallastown Find Success

Dallastown won the last time they faced South Western and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Mustangs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Matt Stone tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. He also allowed three hits, which is notable because Dallastown is undefeated when he allows at most three hits, but 3-5 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Peyton Seitz-Gemmill, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Logan Kessler was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Dallastown now has a winning record of 6-5. As for South Western, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
