Basketball Game Preview: Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets vs. Angola Hornets

The Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets will face off against the Angola Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Friday, Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran came up short against Fort Wayne North Side and fell 72-65. The Cadets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Angola earned a 52-39 victory over Fairfield on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran better focus on containing Ryan Stuckey and Niles Knox as the pair were huge in Angola's win. Stuckey posted 12 points along with six boards and three steals, while Knox went 5 of 7 on his way to 15 points. Knox's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Ben Thomas was another key player, putting up seven points.

Angola is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
