 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Union had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They never let the Falkner Eagles onto the board and left with  a   19-0  victory. West Union might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won ten matches by eight  runs or more this season.
  Addison Collum was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Collum has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Collum was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with a  home run and four  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Mollie Reaves, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with three  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Lucy Jumper, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 The  win was  the fourth in a row for West Union, bringing their record for this year to 10-9. As for Falkner,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 12-11.
 West Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Falkner also has no future games currently scheduled.
