Firestone had to endure a ten-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 73-41 win over the North Vikings. The Falcons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Firestone's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for North, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the defeat, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Firestone will face off against Buchtel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Buchtel knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Firestone likes a good challenge. As for North, they will square off against East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
