Edison lost to Danbury back in February of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Chargers breezed past the Lakers to the tune of 85-41. With the Chargers ahead 54-24 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Despite the loss, Danbury still got an impressive performance from Frankie Kovach, who almost dropped a double-double with 26 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 63.4% of the Lakers' points, marking the fifth time in a row Kovach has posted more than a third of the team's points.

Edison's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-7. As for Danbury, their loss was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Edison will take on Vermilion at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Chargers' defense better be ready for this one: the Sailors have averaged an impressive 62.2 points per game this season. As for Danbury, they will head out to take on Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lakers will be up against the Rangers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.45 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
