Baseball Recap: East Wilkes Comes Up Short

East Wilkes lost against North Stokes last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cardinals came up short against the Vikings, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by exactly ten runs.

East Wilkes saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Praden Hatley, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

East Wilkes' loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for North Stokes, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

East Wilkes has already played their next matchup, a 6-4 victory against Starmount on the 22nd. As for North Stokes, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 win against South Stokes on the 17th.
