Preview: Ravenna Ravens vs. Southeast Pirates
Ravenna has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Southeast Pirates at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Southeast took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Ravenna, who comes in off a win.
Ravenna posted their closest victory yet this season on Monday. They skirted past Garfield Heights 36-34.
Meanwhile, Southeast was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 37-33 to Mogadore.
Ravenna's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Southeast, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
Ravenna suffered a grim 51-31 defeat to Southeast when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can Ravenna avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
