Basketball Game Recap: Garfield vs. Manchester Regional

The Garfield Boilermakers took an ego-bruising defeat against Don Bosco Prep on Saturday, but they kept their chin up and bounced back on Tuesday. Garfield enjoyed a cozy 64-49 win over the Manchester Regional Falcons. Manchester Regional can consider this payback for the 62-57 loss they dealt the Boilermakers the last time the teams encountered one another January.

The victory improved Garfield's record to 12-7. The defeat dropped the Falcons' record to 13-4.

Garfield will stay at home against Pompton Lakes today. Garfield has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency. Manchester Regional is on the road again on Saturday and plays against Paterson Catholic.
