Football Recap: Bryant Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bryant fell victim to Daphne and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Trojans, falling 39-0. The Hurricanes haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Daphne's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamir Alcius, who rushed for 82 yards and one score. Those 82 rushing yards gave Alcius a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Segar, who threw for 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Bryant's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Daphne, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Bryant will host Robertsdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Daphne, they are taking a road trip to take on Fairhope at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' defense has only allowed 13 points per game this season, so the Trojans' offense will have their work cut out for them.
