Volleyball Game Preview: Central East Bengals vs. Edison Tigers

The Central East Bengals will take on the Edison Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central East is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Central East came up short against Clovis and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-9, 22-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Edison had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past Madera 3-0 on Tuesday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Coyotes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Edison's victory bumped their record up to 25-8. As for Central East, their loss dropped their record down to 17-14.

Central East was able to grind out a solid win over Edison in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 3-1. Will the Bengals repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
