Basketball Recap: Sturgeon Takes a Loss

Sturgeon lost against New Franklin back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Sturgeon took a blow against New Franklin, falling 52-22.

Sturgeon's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12. As for New Franklin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-8.

Coming up, Sturgeon will be playing at home against Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Franklin, they will venture away from home to face off against Pilot Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
