Lebanon and Marshfield are an even 4-4 against one another since August of 2015, but not for long. The Yellowjackets will be taking part in a tournament against the Bluejays at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Lebanon has struggled recently with five defeats in a row, while Marshfield will arrive with three straight victories.

Lebanon came up short against Kickapoo on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Marshfield beat Carl Junction 3-1 on Thursday.

Marshfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-17, 25-12, 26-24.

Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 8-15-1. As for Marshfield, their win bumped their record up to 20-7-1.

Lebanon couldn't quite get it done against Marshfield in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Yellowjackets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
