Football Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 14-13 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kent-Meridian Royals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 32-26 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Kent-Meridian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jefferson will square off against rival Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. Meanwhile, Kent-Meridian is set to take on their familiar foe Beamer at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th.
