Basketball Recap: Freeman Skates Past Hanson with Ease

Freeman came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 55-28 victory over the Hanson Beavers. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Flyers had established a 23 point advantage.

Freeman was led to victory by Rylee Peters and Cadence Hofer. Peters dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards, while Hofer went 7 of 12 to rack up 15 points. The game was Peters' sixth in a row with at least 15 points. Vaida Ammann was another key player, putting up seven points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Freeman's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. As for Hanson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Looking ahead, Freeman will challenge Philip at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hanson, they will host Lennox at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
