Baseball Recap: Louisville Takes a Loss

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, Louisville was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (16-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were not able to make up for their loss to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

Louisville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Barry, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Louisville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Plattsmouth, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

Louisville has already played their next contest (against Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Plattsmouth, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Arlington at 4:30 p.m. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
