Basketball Recap: Carlisle County Find Success

Carlisle County won the last time they faced Fulton City, and Macee Hogancamp did her part to make sure it happened again. The Carlisle County Comets put the hurt on the Fulton City Bulldogs with a sharp 59-39 win on Tuesday thanks in part to Hogancamp, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. She is becoming a predictor of Carlisle County's success: when she posts at least ten rebounds the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when she doesn't).

Abree Warren was another key player, putting up ten points and four steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The victory got Carlisle County back to even at 3-3. As for Fulton City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

When Carlisle County and Fulton City next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Carlisle County will try to stop Crittenden County's five-game winning streak when the meet at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Fulton City will try to stop Gleason's five-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
