Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Pensacola

Pensacola entered their tilt with Walton on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Braves 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2019.

Pensacola was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-9.

Leading Pensacola to victory were Teagan Uslan and Ezra Reichwage. Uslan had 15 digs and six aces, while Reichwage had four digs and four aces. With that strong performance, Uslan is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

They weren't the only good server: Pensacola was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They are a perfect 5-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Pensacola's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Walton, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Coming up, Pensacola will square off against Pine Forest at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Fort Walton Beach on the 12th.
