Football Recap: Central Valley Triumphs + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hamilton, Central Valley was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 36-32 W over the Oroville Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Blake Brizendine was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 229 yards and three touchdowns while completing 84.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 35 yards. 83 of Brizendine's passing yards were hauled in by Jonathan Horst, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Defeat or not, Oroville got some senior leadership from Ayden Morales and Keanu Freimark. Morales rushed for 90 yards and a pair of TDs, while Freimark gained 94 total yards and two touchdowns. Freimark didn't just play on offense: he also made 13 total tackles and defended one pass.

The win got Central Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Oroville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Central Valley has already played their next matchup, a 62-24 defeat against Corning on the 12th. As for Oroville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 44-6 loss against Durham on the 12th.
