Pomona gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They never let the Workman Lobos get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Give the Red Devils' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Emmanuel Campos looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk).

At the plate, Victor Tlatenchi was a standout: he scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-1. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Nicolas Montes was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Workman's loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pomona will host Garey at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Workman, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Pomona at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
