Meanwhile, Kings Way Christian School ended up a good deal behind Covington Academy on Friday and lost 22-8. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity Christian School of Griffin's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.4 points on average over those games. As for Kings Way Christian School, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
