Basketball Game Preview: Raymond Rams vs. Campbell

Raymond is 1-9 against Campbell since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Raymond Rams are taking a road trip to take on Campbell at 6:00 p.m.

Raymond is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Belmont, who was ranked ninth at the time (Raymond was ranked 25th). Raymond was outmatched by Belmont and fell 86-36. The match marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Campbell had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Toppers 72-34. That 38 point margin sets a new team best for Campbell this season.

Campbell pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points over those games. As for Raymond, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

Raymond came up short against Campbell in their previous matchup last Friday, falling 64-54. Can Raymond avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
