Basketball Recap: Thorp Takes a Loss

Thorp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 72-25 defeat at the hands of the Fall Creek Crickets. Having soared to a lofty 56 points in the game before, the Cardinals couldn't push the score so high this time.

Thorp's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Fall Creek, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Thorp didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-43 defeat against Cadott on the 17th. As for Fall Creek, they have also already played their next matchup, a 60-58 loss against Regis on the 17th.
