Soccer Recap: Delta Charter Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Frederick, Delta Charter was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Union Parish Farmers, sneaking past 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Storm as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Delta Charter's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9-2. As for Union Parish, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-1 record this season.

Delta Charter will head out to square off against Holy Savior Menard at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Delta Charter is facing Holy Savior Menard at the right time seeing as Holy Savior Menard is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Union Parish, they will face off against Sterlington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Sterlington will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Union Parish surely won't give up without a fight.
