Softball Recap: Yorktown Comes Up Short

After flying high against Daleville on Saturday, Yorktown came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 9-1 to the Noblesville Millers on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered since April 24th.

Yorktown's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Noblesville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yorktown will take on New Castle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Noblesville, they will face off against Brownsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
