Softball Recap: Grayson County Takes a Loss

If Grayson County was riding high fresh off their 11-0 takedown of Fort Chiswell on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Devils lost 16-5 to the Giles Spartans on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Blue Devils have suffered since March 31st.

Grayson County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Giles, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Spartans beat Grayson County by a score of 15-5 later that day.
