Basketball Recap: Niles Notre Dame Takes a Loss

Niles Notre Dame suffered their biggest defeat since February 27, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Marist RedHawks, falling 60-37. The Dons haven't had much luck with the RedHawks recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Niles Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Marist, their victory was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-2.

When Niles Notre Dame and Marist next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Niles Notre Dame will try to stop Northridge's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Marist will challenge Morgan Park and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
