Volleyball Recap: Spencer Comes Up Short

Spencer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mondovi Buffaloes.

Despite the loss, Spencer saw an underclassman step up: freshman Danica Weber had seven digs and three aces.

Spencer's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Mondovi, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-16.

Spencer has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Cadott on the 27th. As for Mondovi, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Adams-Friendship on the 27th.
