Volleyball Recap: Sarah Gordon's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Marian Catholic over Bradley-Bourbonnais

Marian Catholic was the 2-1 winner over Bradley-Bourbonnais when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell 2-0 to the Boilermakers on Friday.

Marian Catholic's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sarah Gordon, who had 11 digs and three aces.

Marian Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
