It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Haleyville had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Fayette County Tigers a 6-0 shutout. That looming 6-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lions yet this season.

Haleyville's win bumped their record up to 7-21. As for Fayette County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 18 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-21 record this season.
