Basketball Recap: Laquey Comes Up Short

Laquey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Fordland Eagles 41-8. The match marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Laquey's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Fordland, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Laquey has already played their next game (against Newburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
